Veterinary Surgeon Vimukthi saves a Python in England
It has been reported in foreign media about a great deed of former President Chandrika Kumaratunga’s son Veterinary Surgeon, Vimukthi
Kumaratunga in saving a Python like reptile in England.
One British citizen had observed a Python like reptile under the steering wheel of his car which had later crept under the dashboard. The British person had thought of Vimukthi Kumaratunga known to him as a consultant in veterinary field .He had called him seeking assistance. Vimukthi in no time had come to the spot with a few more friends. Through his knowledge in the veterinary field he had successfully removed the live Python without hurting the reptile. This deed which had taken about three hours had been reported with photographs in the media.
Vimukthi had studied veterinary medicine in the University of Bristol. After successfully completing studies had become a consultant Veterinary surgeon. After graduation he had been employed in the Veterinary Institution ‘Highcroft’ in England since the year 2011.
Although the former president Chandrika Kumaratunga had said that her son Vimukthi would come into politics it does not appear to materialise in that manner as quipped by her.
