Unidentified dead body recovered floating on Diyawanna Oya at Police mortuary

The Police had recovered from the Kumaragewatta area of the flowing Diyawanna

Oya, a dead body on the 22nd March. Although the Police had informed via the media to help to identify this dead body no one yet to properly identify and claim the dead body.

Hence the Police have made another plea to the public to come to their rescue by helping them to identify the dead body fast decomposing is now lying in the police mortuary.

The description given by the police authorities of the dead person is that he is 5 feet 4 inches tall possessing thick black hair grown to about three inches above the head, slightly on the fat side, been wearing a blue long sleeved shirt and the colour of his under wear is brown. The body could be viewed at than police mortuary and any informants could contact the Talangama police in this connection.
