Mother of three disappeared in Kotakethana, blood stains in room

In Kotakethana in Kahawatta, a mother of three is reported missing from her home on the 05th

instant as reported by the Kahawatta Police.

The missing mother of three children is 38 year old H.W Chandrani Swarnalatha. Her husband had gone to attend a funeral house the previous day and when he returned on the 05th instant and knocked at the door there was no response from inside his house. He had then broke open the door and entered into his house. When he walked into the room of his wife she had not been there but he had noticed that there had been blood stains scattered within the room.

The husband Vijitha Sriyananda had complained this to the Kahawatta Police. It was revealed that they have three children all sons. The eldest son had been away in Colombo employed while the other son had slept at a neighbouring house.The youngest had slept with the missing mother. All details of them were revealed to the Police by the husband. The Police had commenced investigations to find the missing mother by deploying the services of the special task police force. They assume that she may have been murdered and the body taken away and been hidden at a close location.

The Police had reported that both the missing mother and her husband Sriyananda had been doing business in the ‘Pola’ to make ends meet. The search for the missing mother is on.
