The news published ‘Basil to Vietnam from USA ‘is hoax, on 24th in Sri Lanka

The lawyer Udaya Roshan de Silva who is

appearing on behalf of the interest of former Minister of economic development Basil Rajapaksa had added that the information published in the government news department is all hoaxes. However he is scheduled to come to arrive in Sri Lanka on the 24th of this month and would appear at the criminal investigation department to furnish a statement. In this connection his attorney at law has informed the IGP and the Attorney General.

However the information published by the government news department to the affect that he is scheduled to appear at the criminal investigation department on the 24th April is correct the attorney for former Minister Basil Rajapaksa had quipped.
