Cat stuck within a wall of Mohamed Naguib Metro railway station in Cairo for 05 years freed
A kitten in the year 2010 had entered through a small aperture in the wall of the Mohamed
Naguib Metro Railway station in Cairo, Egypt had got stuck within and was unable to come out through it. When the kitten stared growing becoming a cat the endeavour to come out proved futile.
The staff in the railway station had heard a kitten making loud cries and they were helpless in taking the kitten out of the wall as it could not be damaged as it is a public property. Very fortunately for the kitten a railway passenger had heard the cries of the kitten when he was on the platform during that period. The middle aged railway passenger had made it a habit to bring food and feed the kitten through the same hole. The manner the food was given has been shown in the U tube. This wonderful act had continued over the years.
The staff in the railway station had made attempts at various times to get the cat (the kitten had grown since) but all attempts had proved futile. As time passed the possibility of getting the cat out of the same aperture became more hazardous.
However in the year 2015 recently after a lapse of nearly 05 years certain group had come from an animal loving organisation had got the cat out through some device though the same aperture. The cat that had never seen daylight for five years had fled the railway station before anybody could touch.
