Somawansa leaves JVP after an internal conflict

The former leader, the current coordinator on international relations of the JVP ,Somawansa

Amarasinghe after an internal conflict within the party had resigned from the party.

He had reiterated that the JVP is the only party who possess socialist principles in this country. However he has made a statement last Sunday that he is leaving the party and would form a new party with a similar manifesto.

The reason had been purely as the present JVP is deviating from the principles of the party, hence had taken this decision.
