The former Minister of sports and Member of Parliament Mahindananda Aluthgamage addressing a meeting had

quipped.

It was a real blessing that we lost. In the event we won there would have been enough and more who would have come and embraced us.We are happy because we lost. By our defeat we came to know who the honest people are. If we won they would have been many who would have come closer to show their affection. By this defeat we have come to know who are the true supporters are.

Hence it is good to be in the opposition until the100 days lapses. We could see at the end of the 100 days the reactions of those who ran to the government side to obtain temporary ministerial portfolios could be seen Those who accepted ministerial portfolios are those indulged in the ‘double game’ concept.
