Distressing to hear what certain elements, who were reluctant to sit by my side express drastic remarks - Mahinda

Addressing a gathering at the Delgoda Viharaya, yesterday

former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had said that he is baffled to the utterances made by a certain unscrupulous elements who was reluctant even to sit by his side. However he had not mentioned his name. (He is none other than former Minister Mervin Silva).

He had quipped that there is no person other self who knows very well about him. Through these experiences he has come to know who those really faithful are and those who are not.
