Do not privatise Mattala airport and Hambantota harbour a desperate plea from Namal

The Member of Parliament for the Hambantota district Namal Rajapaksa has made a desperate

plea to the government not to privatise the Hambantota harbour and the Mattala Mahinda Rajapaksa International airport as the constituents of the Hambantota district have made a request in this regard to him and he had also requested the government to continue all  development projects  commenced by the previous government as it would give rice to stalling the rapid development process already underway.

He also added that the normal activities of the Mattala international airport have been interrupted and also that the work commenced on the extending of the southern express highway has been stopped altogether and due to the plea made by the constituents of the Hambantota district to accede to these requests and to continue them in the same vein successfully.
