It was reported across the media how Mr. Fonseka

greeted many persons at the ceremony where Mr. Sarath Fonseka was promoted to the rank of Field Marshal recently. However, at the moment when former Army Commander, General Jagath Jayasuriya came forward to greet him, Fonseka had rejected it, media reports say. Fonseka was called to the war crimes courts at the time he was holding the Chief-of-Staff position.  Whatever it is, how Field Marshal Fonseka shook hands with chiefs of other forces is seen in photos, BELOW
