Though former Provincial Council member of North-West, Ananda Sarath Kumara was subjected to punishment by law after the sensational incident of lady teacher Mrs. Susila Priyani Herath of Nawagaththegama Navodya Maha Vidalaya was forced to kneel down at the school premises, according to upcoming news what can be assumed is that the related incident has still not come to a close.
It was reported that a main witness of the incident had died having fallen into a well while Mrs. Susila Priyani Herath has complained to the police about having received an anonymous letter on 05th afternoon which said that she would be raped and murdered.
Though there is no issue regarding this communication, Mrs. Herath said that as various people had from time to time in the past had threatened her and her husband, she had lodged an entry with the police in view of future security.
