Batta stuck on road .... which sloped because of mine

The fact that tunnel mines have been dug towards Gorakaella main road which joins the main road of Panadura -- Colombo and Ratnapura -- Colombo main road was a subject of discussion in the recent past.

As a result of the rainy weather these days,those tunnel mines have collapsed and means of transport has been totally disrupted.

A dangerous precipice of 15 - 20 feet deep is to be seen along this road and photos show how a Dimo Batta which had got stuck there is being rescued by a group of people.

Because of unprotected gem mines being dug,the public in this area are being posed with severe problems.
