Husband tries to poison wife at Boralesgomuwa

 

Had tried to give poison ....
because wife always says "Can't ... can't"
An attempt taken to make the wife consume poison by the husband because she had refused to continue in sexual activities with him is reported from Boralesgomuwa area.

This mother of 3 children had refused to have sexual relations with the husband for the past 4 years because he has supposed to have contacted a social disease. However the husband had vehemently protested against her attitude. He had even threatened to kill her if she refuses to come to bed with him.

It was after that, that he had made a decision to add some poison to her food with the purpose of murdering her. But this plan had misfired because before the poison was absorbed by the body, it had worked on the body of the servant in the house.

The wife's complaint goes as follows: "I am a mother of 3 children. It was before about 4 years that I came to know that my husband was suffering from a social disease. Because of that I keep away from sexual activities with him from the year 2010.  As a result, there were several conflicts between the two of us.

A maid servant in our house complained about a pain in the stomach in the night recently.  As such, she was hospitalised. This food poisoning has taken place because of a sugar-like powder added to her food by my husband. What the servant said was that my husband had given that powder to her asking her to "put it into the nona's food also .... it's a kind of taste". the servant became sick because of the food.

When my husband was giving this poisonous stuff to the servant, I was sleeping. I came to know that my husband's mother too was involved in giving this poison.The servant told me that his mother had spoken to her over the phone and had given instructions to her to insert that powder into my food too.

the doctor also has told that the item of powder given to be mixed with the food is of a poisonous nature. Because of this, I had a suspicion that my husband had taken steps to do some harm to me".

Boralesgomuwa police have launched a special inquiry in relation to the procedure adopted by this husband to murder this mother of 3 children.

The said poisonous matter has been produced in courts through the police and a report from the Government Analyst has been requested by courts.
