Good-hearted foreigner dies after suffering from shocking scene

 

Good-hearted foreigner dies of heart attack....
shocked from vehicle accident caused by him
A foreigner, who having seen an accident committed by him and was subjected t a heart attack, passed away today in Puttalam.

When this foreigner was driving his cab in Puttalam a person had got knocked down by his vehicle, and on seeing the accident had got down from his vehicle and had proceeded to investigate the incident when he had suffered a heart attack.

It was Nicholas Alan Tone (65), an Englishman who had been serving as a Veterinary Surgeon affiliated to an NGO. He had received his citizenship in Sri Lanka.

This accident has taken place near the Puttalam depot belonging to the CTB on the Puttalam-Kurunegala route during morning hours of 29th.

Nicholas who has passed away is supposed to be a member of an NGO.

A person who was waiting at the bus-halt opposite the Puttalam depot had got knocked down by the cab of this foreigner. Though the victim received some injuries, no harm was done to his life.The foreigner had alighted from his cab having gone to check to the spot to inquire about the accident; as soon as he set his eyes on the person who had got knocked down on the ground; he had suffered from a heart attack. People who were at the site there had promptly taken the person who sustained injuries in the accident and the foreigner who suffered the heart attack admitted to Puttalam Base Hospital.

Doctors who attended on both casualties had said that the foreigner had passed away. The casualty who suffered injuries from the accident is prsent undergoing treatment at Puttalam Base Hospital.
