Sri Lankan "Wakutu" society

This is a curling up society - Anura Kumara

Leader of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna and member of parliament Anura Kumara Dissanaike said in parliament that what we have in Sri Lanka today is a society where one has to work in a curled up manner and that in such a society it is difficult to expect progress.

His speech is as follows: "The whole society is curled up. The average man is curled up in front of Provincial Council members . He is curled up in front of the Chief Minister and the Chief Minister himself is curled up in front of Ministers of the government. Ministers of the government are curled up in the presence of the President .... or else is curled up in front of the son ..... shame on a society like this ....."
