Can't bear Lankan chillies   Daiya ... daiya
Whole body became red because it was smarting -- Medical student Marian who became French Beauty Queen

The second place at the last Beauty Queen contest 2013 held recently was won by Marian Lofelin of France. She came second only to a Philippine contestant.

It was reported in the media in the past that a group of French beauty queens vieing for the forthcoming year 2014 toured Sri Lanka recently. Among those 33 contestants was Marian Lofelin who clinched the crown. She is presently a medical student at Lyon University of France and is just 20 years old. She dreams of becoming a                               "This is a lovely country. Though I had heard of Sri Lanka only when I came and saw the country that I realised the value. Sri Lankans are very pleased with the welcome. We enjoyed very much in this country. We dressed like here ... went to see the elephants.  But when the elephants began to give chase we got frightened. Each one of those is a pleasant experience. I had never gone before to see elephants in the jungle.

Only when I went to have meals. I found some difficulty. Here almost every food here has chillies in them .... we're not used to it very much. When we went out to see elephants it was not the hotel food that we ate.  Because we were really hungry .... we started gulping down the food that we got. But then later we couldn't bear the starting sensation of chillies .... the mouth started smarting. My whole body became red ....  for everybody it was the same. The same thing happened to the others. But that food was tasty. Upto then I was thinking specially of Italian food ....but now I like Sri Lankan food very much.

I'll be touring round the world in the years ahead. At every such place I'll be explaining about the charm of Sri Lanka. People of your country are so good. You should publicise your country some more ... then the tourists will be more.
