A CCTV video has been released of a robbery which took place on Monday (Dec 16) at a petrol-shed in Rilawala area, Polgasowita, Kahatuduwa. The robbery had been made by 2 young men who had come to fill petrol to their car. When in the process of filling the petrol, a young man from the rear seat of the vehicle had stepped out with a sword in hand and had frightened the worker at the petrol-shed and had fled after robbing Rs. 57,000 which was in his possession. The victim in this instance had not tried to go to the petrol-shed office.
The workers however had revealed the number of the vehicle as GH 6138. Kahatuduwa police have commenced investigations on the incident.
