Nadeesha Hemamali speaks about her political decision

Geetha and Anarkali is no challenge to me ...

Tele-actress Nadeesha Hemamali who is preparing to contest for the forthcoming Southern Provincial Council after joining the United National Party explained her political stability at a media meeting today (Dec 20). What she said on that occasion was that she came into politics with the motive of performing a great duty for the youth. As the UNP is the party of her home people, she said that she chose this Party and that Geetha and Anarkali are no challenge to her.

What she said is as follows: "I am prepared to do a great duty for the young generation, and I chose the UNP and further expected to carry forward that good motive in this instance. So I hope to compete for the Southern PC.

*Do you appear from the UNP because you can't contest from the government Party?
 
   No .... not anything like that. I chose UNP because of my family background.

*Will you join the government after you win?
  That accusation does not belong to me. I have just now stepped into this field. I am a principled person. Even when I do something, it's like that. What I do, I do properly.

*Is Geetha, Anarkali who is going to ask for the vote from the South a challenge to you?
  No one is a challenge to me .... because I have principles ... I have challenges. The value comes only if the public who love me accepts me. So, I don't need to give a challenge to the others.
