Ghost train found in Ratmalana

A train engine which had automatically got into motion without anybody's notice at about 1.45 in the morning from Dematagoda railway station had travelled along the railway track and had finally stopped at a point somewhere between Ratmalana and Mount Lavinia.

This incident seems to have occured in the form of a mystical phenomenon and by now investigations are underway regarding the incident. Railway authorities are now perplexed as to how the engine had got into motion without the assistance of any driver and the engine has been taken to the Ratmalana yard.

Railway authorities say that it is fortunate that nobody has been harmed as a result of this unexpected journey of the engine.

It was reported that the services of the relevant driver and his assistant who have been unable to give a satisfactory explanation for this incredible incident have been terminated and that a three-member committee has been appointed to inquire into this matter.
