Dr. Ranjuka acts like a 'Niyama kukula'

Doctor who performed surgery on Karapitiya student ...
a 'Niyama kukula'

Various media were talking about Specialist Dr. Ranjuka Ubeysiri of Karapitiya Hospital last week as he came into the spotlight as the physician who successfully performed an operation on an 8 year old schoolgirl who met with an accident in Galle. Dr. Ubeysiri was able to join the girl's ankle which was dangling from the skin. On inquiring about this doctor, what came into focus was some other outside information. According to this information, he is a 'niyama kukula'.
This is not something that deals with his private life. You may remember the advertisement which was displayed over Rupavahini about 13 years ago in relation to the Keels meatballs  commercial advertisement which was frequently displayed; where the actor in the visual calls an attractive girl who came to buy some items from that supermarket saying "soo ... soo",and had asked her where she was living. This particular actor who appeared in the visual was none other than this specialist doctor - surgeon Ranjuka Ubeysiri.

On that occasion, a girl who poses as the sister of the aforesaid girl and who also came shopping there identifies the actor as a 'niyama kukula'.This particular commercial became quite popular during that time.

A team of doctors including Dr. Ranjuka Ubeysiri, specialist in kidney and neuro-transplanting at the Karapitiya Hospital undertook an operation where a leg of a student had to be transplanted and the operation was carried out successfully without the patient losing a limb.

Shown below is how the doctor appeared in the commercial
