Sri Lankan murdered in UK while out delivering pizza

Sri Lankan delivering pizzas in the night ...
 meets with death in UK

A Sri Lankan youth who had been serving at a Domino pizza restaurant in a South Yorkshire area in the United Kingdom, it is reported had been suddenly found murdered last Sunday night while on his way delivering pizzas. The dead body of Thavisha Peiris was found with injuries on a roadway in Crescent area in South Sheffield. The police said that he had been attacked and killed with a sharp knife. Three persons have been taken into custody by Yorkshire police under suspicion on that occasion.

Thavisha, a resident from Colombo had left to UK from Sri Lanka about two and a half years ago. Thavisha, in order to follow a degree course in computer software engineering had enrolled with Sheffield Halam University. He had finally finished his studies there and had subsequently been looking for employment; remaining in UK. Later he had found employment with Domino Pizza Restaurant where he was working in order to earn an extra income.

The sudden demise of 25 year old Thavisha was a problem to inmates of his lodging-place too. What they say is that they are surprised at this kind of finale that he had had to face because someone like Thavisha lived a quiet type of life and caused nobody any kind of problem.

Though the police arrested 3 persons over this killing, no reports on the investigations have so far been received and the reason for murder too has still not been revealed.
