RONNIE LEACHE'S DAUGHTER ENTERS CINEMA

     Have you seen Keshya Leach who acts a supporting role in the film "I'ts a Matter of Love" of Roy de Silva being shown these days? She is the daughter of Ronnie Leach alias Thattaya.

   Ronnie has introduced another Leach to the cinema. She spoke about this to a newspaper recently.

   "With my looks, most people think that I am a very proud person. But once someone gets fit with me .... it's really fit.

   I like music. But in outdoor concerts, as females we have to face great challenges. But I don't like to sing at shows by facing such hindrances. Earlier I was a media representative. I wrote to the Daily Mirror newspaper. I read news over the MTV channel. I did presentations for Kiss FM. Now I have left all that and work at Browns & Co.

   The first film I act in is being screened these days. That was the first piece of acting in front of a camera. Before this I have acted in English dramas. I got an opportunity to act in the film "It's a Matter of Love" because its director Roy de Silva and Mrs.Sumana Amerasinghe are intimate friends of our family. They have been inviting me to take to acting for quite sometime. Because of being busy,I couldn't find the time for any such thing. But these days I am a little free. That's why I accepted this offer. Here I play the role of a friend. The name is Chaturi. I was having a desire for acting. But I didn't want to go behind asking for that opportunity and to sell father's name saying I am Ronnie Leach's daughter".
