Daham –Asela conflict CHAPTER CLOSED
Reconciliation Board resolves the issue

The case between Daham the son of Minister Maithripala Sirisema and Asela Waidyalankara’s  son  of DIG   Ravi Waidyalankara was to be held yesterday at the Valachchainai courts on the 8th
When the case was taken for trial the Valachchaina Magistrate M.M Riyal requested the case to be heard by the mediation Board. This was as result of points placed before the Magistrate by the lawyers of the two parties and the Police personnel.
 The Police Superintendent, had disclosed that this clash had occurred owing to a sudden rush of n blood and according to the act numbers 314 1nd 343 the case should be allowed to e heard in the mediation Board. According to these acts the lawyers of both parties did not raise objections to this proposal
The Lawyer who appeared for Asela Waidylankara S.Thangaraja had added that the Police had not acted according to the ethics that have to followed by the Police, but the Minister Maithripala Sirisena is a very nice person who needs to be respected
After the case was placed before the mediation Board the Magistrate had ordered that the report to be furnished to him on the 20th June. From the  side of Asela, President’ s council G.T Mendis, President’s council  Faiser Mustapa, Senior lawyer Champani Padmasekara,Lawyer ,Saliya Mathew and  another lawyer in all six lawyera had appeared,
This case although Asela had a bandaged hand it was the intention of both rival parties to have this case resolved and resolved amicably
