RANILFORMS NEW ALLIANCE WITH 10 PARTIES

Ranil has got together with 10 parties to topple the Government

The United National Party affiliated with ten other parties in the opposition signed a united Alliance with a view to topple the government. This event was held in the New town hall premises.
10 different political parties joined together as a solitary alliance. Under the Leadership of R.Sambandan representing the Tamils National Alliance, Under the Leadership of Dr Wickremabahu Karunaratna , the New Sama Samaja Party, under the Leadership of Sarath Manmendraarachchi’s new Jathika hela Urumaya, under the Leadership of Aruna Soysa’s Ruhunu Janatha Party,under the leadership of Hema Kumara Nanayakkara ,the Janatha Mawbima Peramuna, under the Leadership of Azad Sally the Democratic Janatha Peramuna and under Siritunga Jayatunga’s Leadership the Eksath Samajawadi Party together with the main Opposition the United National party under the leadership of Ranil Wickremasinghe the joint alliance was formed.
In addition to these 10 parties “Independent Stage” named political force too joined them. Ranil afterwards said that we have now formed a firm base to topple the government.
