COLOMBO TRAFFIC POLICE ON VEHICLE SURVEY

As the forms given yesterday were collected today- traffic jams in Colombo

All vehicles that were entering the city of Colombo via many routes were given forms yesterday to fill in order to make a survey, there was a traffic jam. Today these forms completed were requested to be handed over to the traffic Police. As they were been collected today too there was a traffic jam at several places where vehicles were entering into the city from various routes.
These forms were requested to be handed over at the same points they were given at. Accordingly the forms had to be handed over to the traffic Police personnel. These forms were handed over to the drivers in cars, vans and cab vehicles. Many questions had to be answered such as whether the vehicle is coming daily? How many are travelling and where the vehicles are parked Etc., it is reported.
It is learnt from this survey a new traffic arrangement proposal is hoped to be implemented by the traffic Police personnel.
