In the yesterday’s Lux Sumathi Awards 2012 ceremony held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International conference Hall Jagath Chamila and Samadhi Laksiri carried away the best Actors and the best Actresses awards. The best Tele drama of the year was won by’ Swanjatha’ Tele dram creation.
Dhananjaya Siriwardena and Nadheesha Hemamali won the awards for the year’s most popular and Actor and Actresses awards respectively.
The best up and coming Actors award was won by Malinda Perera while Dinakshi Priyasad won the award for the up and coming Actress.
Athula Pathirana and Chathurika Pieris won the awards for the best supporting Actor and Actress respectively.
