Ayomi Shanika too has got divorced

Tele drama actress Ayomi Shanika has got her divorce today. This decision was given at the Magistrate of Kaduwela District Courts.
She became popular through the role of “Sudu Nangi” at “Jeewithaya Lassanai” Tele drama. She has been working as an Ayurvedic doctor and she got married in the year 2009 after becoming an actress. Yet she didn’t speak about her marriage openly to the media. It was reported that she has kept her marriage as a secret. She was married to H.K Thusitha who was related to politics and the media.
Defendant lawyer, representing her husband had told the courts that she has got married to him with the intention of owning his property. Even though she has asked for revenue worth of 50 lacks and property, she has not been given anything as expected. She has got only the divorce as her husband has given his consent to it.
The news of another Tele drama actress Umayangana’s divorce case too was reported last month.
