PRESIDENT ADVISES HIRUNIKA

“Daughter first you complete your studies....Then you come for politics”
-President tells Hirunika

Last week suddenly for the late Bharatha Lakshman’s one year almsgiving a visitor suddenly arrived. It was our President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The President had offered alms to Madegoda Abeypussa and Madhuruwawe Sobhitha Theras. The President spoke to late Bharatha’s wife and daughter Hirunika The President quipped from Hirunika “ daughter have you finished your  examinations”. Hirunika had said that “I have to complete my finals”.

“What is the best thing is to complete the exams and then enter politics”, the President had told. It is reported that after offering Ata Pirikara, the President had taken his ‘dane’ had left.
