PRE SCHOOL CHILD GIRL DIES AT HORANA

Pre- school girl dies after a decapitated wall of an estate line house had collapsed on her body while playing:

It is reported today from the Ellakanda Estate in Horana area that a pre- school girl had died when the decapitated wall of an estate line house had collapsed on her body while she was playing inside the house.
The girl child who had to meet with this unfortunate death is a four year old pre- school student S.Aswin. She had succumbed to the injuries when the wall of her line estate house had collapsed on to her body. When a noise was heard the neighbours had rushed into see as to what had happened. They had seen her dead body in a pool of blood in between the bricks.
The little Aswin’s parents have gone for work in the same estate while her two younger brothers also had been in the same line house.
With regard to the decapitated state of the houses the estate workers had reported to the relevant authorities of the estate. But owing to the lack of funds the much needed repairs had not been done owing to acute financial constraints.
