USAIN BOLT WINS 200 AT LONDON OLYMPICS 2012

A few hours ago Usain Bolt became an athlete unbeatable in the men’s 100m as well as men’s 200m events when he went on to clinch easily the ‘Gold’ at the London 2012 Olympics event. His timing was 19.32 seconds. With this win in the men’s 200m event he became the champion sprinter in the 2008 Beijing Olympics as well as in the 2012 London Olympics.
With this win Bolt had surpassed the achievements of American Carl Lewis who won the gold in men’s 100 m and 200 m in the 1984 Olympic games, but he could win the ‘Gold’ only in the 100 m Olympic games in the 1988 Olympic games while he had to contented with the ‘Silver’ at the 1988 200 m Olympic Games events.
At present Usain Bolt holds the records for both the World and Olympic games for the men’s 100m and 200 m events and is the undisputed fastest man on earth. He has completed the 100 m in 9.58 seconds and in 19.19 seconds in the 200 m events. With these feats he has surpassed the American Carl Lewis’ feats made in previous Olympic Games.
