UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT NEAR THE KOLLUPITIYA RAILWAY TRACK

A person who was walking along the railway track near Kollupitiya Railway station has suddenly noticed of an oncoming train had jumped out of the track, in the process had got his head entangled within a rubble of stones:

To take his head and body out of the rubble of stones the assistance of a Fire Brigade was sought:

Yesterday a person who was walking along the railway track at Kollupitiya had suddenly seen a train approaching and to escape from been run over had jumped out of the railway track and had landed on a rubble containing stones. His head had got embedded tightly in between two hard stones of rubble and he had been unable to take his head out of it without injuring him. He had been shaking his legs and made loud cries for help.
A woman who had seen this incident had sought the help of some neighbouring persons to take him out. Their efforts had proved futile. As the only alternative they had called the Fire Brigade to seek help. When they arrived they had used hydraulic equipment and spanners and were able to take him out. He has had scapes on his body as injuries sustained. However he was alter taken to hospital for further investigations.
