This year (2012) China’s Yu Wenxia was crowned as the Miss World 2012
She is 23 years old and is a student studying music. The first runner up was a contestant from Wales while the second runner up was a contestant from Australia.
The contest was held with the participation of contestants from 116 countries. It was held in China’s Mongolian city called ‘Ordoshi.’ Sri lankan participant was Sumudu Prasadini. She was unable to make any impression and could not come forward in any round.
