Shrimali wins the crown of Mrs. Asia International32 year old Mrs. Shrimali Fonseka won Mrs. Asia International Global 2012 which was held in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Surakshi Siriwardane who represented Sri Lanka along with Shrimali had competed for the Classical Division with the competitors of the age of 50 years. She has won the award for the Best Elegance.
Competitors from many Asian countries took part in this competition. It has been 27 years after Mrs. Rosi Senanayake won an International beauty pageant. With this crown Sri Lanka has been able to win an International competition again in the year 2012.
