STF RAIDS GANJA CHENA INSIDE WILPATTU

Inside the Wilpattu nature sanctuary 8 acres of land found with huge ‘Ganja’ Chena cultivation:

A ‘Ganja’ Chena cultivation 8 acre in extent belonging to a Millionaire businessman was raided by the Special Task Force personnel on a ‘tip off’ yesterday.
As it as located at a place in the forest where nobody would ever suspect that there would be a ‘Ganja’ Chena cultivation, four plots of land 2 acres in extent, in all 8 acres was raided by the STF yesterday. At the time of detection no one was in the vicinity.
The ‘ganja’ trees were grown very healthily and each tree was 10- 12 feet in height. It was revealed that it was the right time for reaping the harvest. The STF had found a bundle of ‘ganja’ ready to be removed.
It is reliably learnt that the ‘Ganja’Chena 8 acres in extent was owned by a millionaire businessman having close links with strong politicians. It was located close to Rajanganaya. He had been an owner of 7 ‘tippers’, two buses and number of luxury vehicles. It was learnt that he entertains and provides accommodation to many politicians who visit Wilpattu.
The tip off that this millionaire businessman as growing the 8 acre ‘Ganja’ Chena cultivation in February this year. As it as located in a place that could not be detected easily
