The other day our website published the news about Paboda’s wedding to be held at the end of this month. She had disclosed the name of the bridegroom as Sidath Harendra and that her wedding is fixed to be held at the end of this month.

Today she had given an interview to the “Sarasaviya’ paper. She had disclosed that she had met Sidath in the course of acting career and had known him intimately for a number of years. As they would be based in Colombo after the wedding she would take part in Tele –dramas and films where shooting would be confined to Colombo and the suburbs.

Who is the partner to be in your life?:

“He is Sidath Harendra who is going to be my loving husband. I am very confident that he will bring in more life and light to my life. I am sure about it. I initially met him at shooting and associated with him closely for a number of years. Our friendship became very close and we then fell in love and became a serious love affair almost without our knowledge. I will dress as an up country bride an idea which lingered in my mind for a long time. Sidath is a very simple person as well as a very unassuming person. My mind simply drew towards him. I have to admit that his presence and support as a tremendous boost to my acting career. My links of friendship with him are far from those other artists. Sidath is not against my acting after marriage. But I have an added responsibility after marriage as a housewife.”

After marriage ill your fans would be able to see your acting?

“I have come to a decision already. Although I gave a prominent part to acting after marriage I have the added responsibility to look after him as a housewife. I have decided only to undertake to act in Tel-dramas and films where shooting would be confined to Colombo and suburbs. Sidath has absolutely no objections in prolonging my acting career. But I have added responsibilities as a housewife.”
