Fun and silly parts of Hiru TV which was launched today

People were curious to find out how Hiru TV is going to be. The TV channel started today and people have found out that there is nothing much in it. The main programs are going to be some music programs, tele dramas and travel programs. They don’t seem to be having a News Telecast programme either.
In order to break the monotony in between, they are having ice breaking programs called “One minute break” and “I am speaking”. This program is conducted by an announcer who wears a pair of big spectacles and he appears to be definitely funny.
In the “I am speaking program”, he says
“There are various kinds of people in Sri Lanka. Short characters, fat characters…. There are beautiful girls in Sri Lanka…small girls, fair girls, dark girls…girls like flowers, girls like rocks…”
It is questionable how the older generation will take to this program in the new HIRU TV channel:
At the same time, in “One minute program”, they showed an event where a girl and a boy meets and talks 25 things that they shouldn’t be talking at their honeymoon. That seemed to be meaningless and nobody could understand what they were speaking.
We cannot still decide as to how Hiru TV will appear before the audience or what it will be like. Yet we can tell that the culture brought by Renor Silva, Duminda Silva’s brother in Hiru FM is visible in this channel as well.
