Mishap and embarrassment faced by Shah Rukh Khan at the New York airport suspecting him to be a terrorist

Today super Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan had to face a mishap and severe embarrassment at the New York airport. He had been suspected as a terrorist by the Immigration authorities. He had been detained at the airport over two hours.
 He had landed at John Kennedy F Airport around 12.45 P.M with the intention of participating for a lecture at the Yale University. He had flown in from a private aircraft along with the organizer of the lecture, Nita Ambani. According to the schedule, he had planned to hold a media conference at 2.00 P.M and to participate for the lecture at 4.00 P.M. But unexpectedly, the immigration officers have taken him for inquiries. Therefore all his plans have been unnecessarily delayed.

“I have been suspected because my last name is Khan. Since I am a Muslim, the Hindus look at me with eyes full of suspicion… I have faced a similar problem last time I went to New Jersey… Even though I told who I am, they didn’t care about that at all. Yet last time I didn’t have to stay that long.”

Even though the world suspects every Muslim after Bin Laden, According to the Indian Media it is a problematic issue since they haven’t identified the famous Bollywood actor as the famous Shah Rukh Khan.
However he had been released after two hours and the immigrant officers who had apologized to the Indian Government for the delay.
