CID IGNORES TO QUESTION DUMINDA SILVA

The court has ordered to arrest Duminda Silva
CID avoids raiding Duminda Silva

Last week the court ordered the CID to arrest Duminda Silva, the main suspect of Baratha Lakshman Premachandra’s murder case and to bring him before the courts. Today was the first day in the case where the CID was to bring forward information as to where he is residing and as the case was to be heard today.
Surprisingly the relevant CID officer had evaded from presenting himself and thus no information about Duminda Silva had been revealed.
The judge who had spoken angrily had stated that evading the court is very improper and he had ordered Ranjan Lamahewa of the CID to present himself before the court on the 17th of this month.
