SRI LANKA LOST THE VOTE

Sri Lanka loses from the vote

The resolution led by America at the United Nations Human Rights Council against Sri Lanka for violating International Humanitarian laws with 14 complaints to support the resolution was held today at Geneva in Swirtzerland and the resolution of the UNHRC was won by 09 votes.
The committee has 47 countries and from them, 24 countries voted supporting the resolution while 15 countries voted against and 08 countries abstained from voting
Sri Lanka thus is considered as a country that had violated Human Rights and the necessary action against Sri Lanka will be taken in the future.
Among the votes 15 have supported Sri Lanka and 8 have abstained from voting. Even though it had been 23 countries since the votes against Sri Lanka had been 24, the resolution had won.
