Soup songs of Mervin and Dayasiri

“Koleveri”, the heart breaking song of Danush was called a “soup song”. Mervin who was heartbroken about Kelaniya sang a soup song to the Committee member at Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha. Those were answered by the other singer of the political arena, Dayasiri.
After Dayasiri sang a song in answer to Mervin, Mervin sang a song in return to Dayasiri.
Summary of the song is as below:
Mervin:  I was waiting for you at the hut, where did you go?
Dayasiri: I was feeling nausea so I went to the fair in search of ginger.
Mervin:  I went to your home in search of ginger and since you weren’t there I stayed at your place.
