DILSHAN-NUPUR MATCH FIXING DRAMA

By showing Dilshan-Nupur incorrect relationship, the ‘Mada’ motive is to make Dilshan psychologically down before commencement of England-Sri Lanka Test series.

As the test series between Sri Lanka and England is drawing near the English media has made an attempt to make him mentally down by bringing in a fabricated story involving a false relationship with not so popular Bollywood actress Nupur Mehtha.
Initially this fabricated involvement of Dilshan with the Bollywood actress was published in the ‘Daily Mirror’ paper in England. Dilshan has attracted the attention of the Indian media too. This incident has become a leading subject in the India media too.
What is the truth of this story? It had been revealed earlier that the duo had been involved in ‘match fixing’ allegation too. According to stories published 3 years ago Dilshan with Nupur Mehtha stories the two were involved were involved in ‘match fixing’ contracts with the book makers.
In this connection a journalist by name Masar Mahamood had published a story where the Bollywood actress had been instigated by a Book maker to stay in the hotel Consington Royal Hotel to stay in the hotel where the Sri Lankan team too had stayed during the ICC World T 20 tournament, to have a relationship with Dilshan and ‘fix’ matches. For this allegation the actress had said it is true that she stayed in the same hotel but never stayed with anybody in her hotel room. However she had not totally denied the fact she had stayed with Dilshan. She had however had confessed that she had met Dilshan in the hotel. 
“ I had met a number of cricketers and Dilshan was one of them.She said she had in the company of Dilshan was in a ‘casino’ hotel. I was all alone and needed protection. I was attracted to many. But I had I had nothing to do with ‘match fixing’. Because of this rumour I gained a lot of publicity."
She has confessed in taking legal action against these newspapers. Nupur Mehtha is not such a famous actress. She had portrayed small roles in just two films. In the year 2005 she had acted in the film ‘dud’. In the year 2006 she had portrayed a role in the film ‘Becksbar’.Other than only publicity she had gained was appearing in commercial advertisement in popular magazines in the cover pages. Other than she does modelling.
Dilshan previously has records of bad behaviour. In Zimbabwe for a similar charge with an actress, he had been remanded and his visa cancelled in the month of September 2010.The Gossip Lanka news letter could be read HERE

However the English are bringing these earlier stories to light in an effort to bring his mentality down prior to the Test series. The Media in India too have taken advantage of this situation and cartoonists have been made to be busy with their business in the media.
