NOT EASY TO TAKE STATEMENTS FROM DUMINDA On BHARATHA’S KILLING

To take a statement from Duminda Silva needs permission from the Speaker of the Parliament.

To obtain a statement from Duminda Silva regarding the killing of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra is not going to be easy, was what the Director General of the National Defence Secretary, Lakshman Hulugalle revealed. The reply he had given is as follows:
Owing to two reasons statements from Duminda Silva cannot be taken. The main reason is that he is still in the Intensive Care Unit of Sri Jayewardanapura Hospital and the other factor is that permission has to be sought from the Speaker of the Parliament.
