MERVYN BEATS DHARMALOKA STUDENT’S FATHER

I am the thug as well as the Politician
Student’s father of Kelaniya Dharmaloka beaten by Mervyn.

In order to construct a new swimming pool at Dharmaloka Vidyalaya in Kelaniya, a fund raising campaign had begun among the by the parents and students by selling tickets. Among some parents there was a strong opinion that the system was not reasonable and is also corruptive. This information was spread in and around the school.
Today Mervyn Silva having heard this story had walked into the premises of the school. When a student’s father wanted to explain to him the story he had called him to s side and had said that version in incorrect and gave him in his own version in his usual manner and when he started to retaliate Mervyn Silva had given some blows this student’s father in front of many other parents. Then the father having taken the blows had gone away from that place.
After this moment Mervyn Silva told the media “that I am not expecting votes from thugs, I do not have thugs here, the only thug and the politician is me, I am the Minister as well as the M.P., there are no leaves in trees only trunks”.
