Bharatha and Duminda were never involved in shooting

It was revealed by Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage in Parliament yesterday that Bharatha or Duminda were never involved in the shooting. The shooting had taken place between the two factions of the supporters. Hence the two were in between were shot.
He described it as follows:
“From the Mulleriyawa incident the Opposition is trying to take mean advantage. There was no shooting between Bharatha and Duminda. The shooting was made by the supporters of the two factions .Because of this incident the Government had lost some prestige While doing justice to Bharatha, the Government has to look into the interest of Duminda who is been treated in hospital.”
