CID questioned me about Bharatha’s driver-Minister Vasudeva

Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara, made the media aware about he been questioned continuously by the CID about the Bharatha’s killing. They questioned me about Bharatha’s driver. He had told that he had never met him before. At the funeral house he had spoken to many people and Bharatha’s driver was just another person he had spoken to about the incident. Other than that the Minister had told that he is unaware of anything else.
The driver had quipped to him that when Bharatha was fallen he heard someone saying ‘shoot him’.
The two suspects who were arrested in India had obtained visa’s over two weeks before the incident.
The Police investigations revealed that that the two suspects who had escaped to India had obtained visas over two weeks ago prior to the incident. One had obtained his visa on the 21st September and the other on the 23rd September. The validity period of the visas had been for duration periods of 6 months.
The body-guard of Duminda Silva, Anura Thushara de Mel is to be produced before an identification parade and on the orders of the courts remanded till the 1st of November.
