NANO VS THREE WHEELERS

THREE WHEEL OWNERS OPPOSE THE NEW NANO TAXI SERVICE
There was a protest made yesterday in and around Hyde Park by the Three Wheel owners opposing the implementation of the Nano Taxi service, as it would ‘strike their stomachs’.
The world’s cheapest motor vehicle is the TATA NANO vehicle manufactured in India. These have been imported by businessman during the past few months to commence an economical taxi service, knowing very well that there would be definite demand for it. This is because people will definitely prefer them to the air conditioned luxury taxis, where the charges are very much higher. At present by deploying 45 Tata Nano vehicles they have commenced a new taxi service. By the end of the year the fleet of Tata Nano vehicles is to be increased to about 100.This is why the three wheeler owners have got excited and alarmed.
When the ‘metered three wheeler’ taxi’s were introduced, they protested as it also effected their stomachs. The normal three wheelers are not reasonable about their charges and people who travel consider their charges as exorbitant. A Tata Nano vehicle could be purchased for Rs 9 ½  lakhs which is only the thrice the price of a three wheeler.
