20 UNDERGRADUATES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED

Having Protested with A Coffin For Roshen Chanaka’s Death 20 female Undergraduates have Been Suspended
Normally it is the male students who make demonstrations and protests outside the Universities who are punished. In complete contrast female students of the Sri Jayewardenapura University had protested for Roshen Chanaka;s death by bringing a coffin to the University premises. They However in complete contrast to male students of the Sri Jayewardenapura University had made a demonstration within the premises and had done the protest carrying a coffin. As a consequence of that 20 female students have been suspended.
It is also learnt some Senior students too have been suspended for ragging the new entrants. In both instances these punishments have been meted out by the administrators of the Sri Jayewardenapura University.
