It was reported earlier that Minister Mervin Silva was to become an actor when he was chosen to portray the role of ‘KING DUTUGEMUNU’ in the film ‘SURANGANA LOVEN AVILLA’. The location of the shooting had been done in the Sigiriya area.
It is reported that Mervin Silva had fallen while he was to be raised by a few persons and kept on an Elephant’s back, having made the Elephant to sit. It is difficult for a novice to sit on an Elephant’s back. We have doubts whether the story is true or not. But the pictures and the video below describes the precise story.
