Mahinda not among TIME's best 100

His Excellency President Mahinda Rajapaksa has not been considered as a powerful and influential personality amongst 100 in the TIME’s magazine. Initially it was reported that he was elected and placed as the 6th and was subsequently placed 5th and thereafter further elevated to 4th position. The positions are given through a voting system and according to the Editor of the TIME’s magazine he had polled only 238909 votes and hence has failed to be placed even within the first 100 most influential and powerful personalities of the world.
