WILL DAYASIRI JAYASEKARA CROSS OVER TO THE GOVERNMENT?

The hoax story of Dayasiri Jayasekera joining the Government ranks:

The story about the stalwart of Sajith faction ,extremely popular Member of Parliament of opposition, and the runner up in the ‘Mega ‘ star reality show conducted by the Swarnavahini TV channel, Dayasiri Jayasekera had visited ‘Temple Trees’ and has had friendly lengthy talks with the H.E the President last week was published in some media in the country. This hoax story had made a huge and unbelievable uproar in the political arena and amongst the general public.
Yesterday the powerful M.P of the Opposition Dayasiri Jayasekera had made a confession to the Daily Mirror paper as this story is an absolute fabricated one and is really a hoax. He had claimed and confessed that he had not met and spoken with the President for a number of years.
This matter was of grave concern to the Leader of Opposition Ranil Wickremasinghe. He was so worried that he had even gone to the extent to request for a report in this regard as to why the M.P Dayasiri Jayasekera visited ‘Temple Trees’ from the General Secretary of the UNP Tissa Attanayake.
This story was spread like wild fire within and outside the Political circles and is now learnt that this hoax story was spread to gain political advantage for the forthcoming Provincial council elections.
 It is a well known fact that M. P Dayasiri Jayasekera had been criticising the activities of the Government at frequent intervals, and when it was made known that he was to join with the Government ranks it would have been a real boost for the Government as it was losing the confidence of the poor people in particular when the elections are around the corner.
There are some views that M.P Dayasiri Jayasekera has had some allegations pointed at him and for him to come back in to the good books of the Government and the people this story may have been fabricated.
The M.P of the Opposition has denied all these allegations and stories ,talks and gossip and what he had said he at the present time never and ever thought of leaving the UNP and joining the Government ranks.
